Registration is now openn for Adaptive Dance Summer Camps

What is the difference between these two camps?


Thanks to the support from the Dennis & Phyllis Washington Foundation and the Montana Council on Developmental Disabilities, Cohesion Dance Project has been able to partner with Keshet Dance Company to offer two unique Adaptive summer camps.

KDC Adaptive - All Ages is an hour long camp perfect for anyone looking for an introduction to Adaptive Dance. Participants will work with Keshet Dance Company and have an opportunity to perform an original piece on Friday, July 12.

Mixed Ability Arts Integration is designed for youth ages 7-18 exploring creative movement and artistic expression in a fun and supportive environment. This two-hour class is ideal for participants who want to expand on movement they have built in Adaptive Dance or explore different art forms. Participants will have an opportunity to perform an original piece on Friday, July 12 alongside Keshet Dance Company.

What is Adaptive Dance?

Adaptive Dance is creative movement designed specifically for people with special needs or varying developmental or physical ability. Our instructors and volunteers work closely with the individuals in class to move, express, and create in a fun, safe environment

How much does it cost?

Classes are by donation. Donations can be made online or by check made payable to Cohesion Dance Project.

I am interested in volunteering, how do I get involved?

Helping out with Adaptive Dance is hugely rewarding - for volunteers, instructors, and dancers alike! Please contact us to learn more about volunteering with Adaptive Dance. Volunteers are required to attend training prior to each session, so please contact in advance.

 

How do I register a new student for class?

New student registration is a two-step process.

Step One: Online Registration

Click "Register" next to the appropriate class and fill out our online registration form.

Step Two: Intake Form

Click here to complete an online intake form. Complete this form ASAP give instructors ample time to develop curriculum. Click here for a PDF version of the Adaptive Intake Form 2018.

How do I register a returning student for class?

If a student has been registered for our class within the past year, you can either enroll them online through the parent portal or call/email/let a teacher know you are enrolling. If your student is returning from more than a year ago, please complete the steps for a new student enrollment.
